United City is looking for an Intern to serve as an administrative/marketing assistant on the leadership team! It is a great opportunity to learn about what God is doing through the churches and people of Lakeland, and meet local unique/talented leaders throughout the city! It is also a chance to perfect different skills that are valuable in the secular world, including but not limited to:
- Social Media Marketing- Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter…etc
- Website mechanics and Maintenance
- Administrative/Secretary Duties
- Connecting/Networking with people in the Lakeland community
- Have a front row seat watching God change this city!
This is a part time position that is available to anyone, preferably someone that has some experience with the above bullet points, or that can learn quick! This internship is flexible with schedules, but it does require at least a 6 month commitment! We would like the future UC intern to attend our upcoming event on May 4th (National Day Of Prayer), to become more familiar with United City and how annual events are run. This internship is ideal for someone looking for service hours, or volunteer hours, as United City is a non-profit organization!
