Two Kingdoms At War...
The Enemy's Plan Revealed.
Jesus told us that a house divided will not stand, and He also prayed that we would be one. Is it any surprise, then, that the enemy's plan has been to cause division in the church? Like sin, division started out small, seemingly unimportant, but now it almost feels like unity is impossible. So, how do we show the world that Jesus is God (John 17) by being one? First, we need to understand how this division began...
Step 1. The Kill
How it started... The early church had its own infrastructure for finance, social needs, and education (Acts 5). They used private resources and stewardship to support the community. But the enemy killed this community and unity when we fell for his alternative infrastructure.
Step 2. The Steal
How it's going... The current system drains resources from the Kingdom, even in transactions between fellow Christians. The enemy controls the flow and imposes tolls and fees, taking from the church, its businesses, and its people. This reaches beyond commerce, impacting our ability to thrive, support one another, communicate, and prosper in almost every area of life.
Step 3. The Destruction
What could be... Revelation 18:4 warns God's people to leave this system and avoid its coming judgment. As the body of Christ, we must unite and turn away from the old system, or face destruction. We cannot allow the enemy to control how we eat, trade, think, and share. Let us remain vigilant, motivated, and return to the foundations set by the Apostles.
This is not isolation from the World, it’s insulation.
